About The PACT

Guiding and uniting our way to health equity.

The PACT is a shared commitment among Tribes to transform care—together, and on our own terms.

When Tribes lead their own healthcare, people thrive and communites prosper.

Right now, 574 Tribes are doing this work alone, determined to control and build the care their communities deserve.

But they’re navigating a system that’s underfunded, fractured, and built on broken promises.

Broken systems that leave gaps in care.

This fractured system has impacted Tribal communities as a whole—widening health disparities and cutting American Indian and Alaska Native lives short.

But beyond the statistics, it hurts families and individuals every day. Youth can’t access mental health services. Elders wait months for specialty care. The gaps touch every generation.

A different way forward.

Like many Native families, our founders Kurt and Aimée struggled to get care for their children off the Oneida Reservation. Barrier after barrier showed how broken the system had become—and made it clear we can’t fix this alone.

That experience sparked a different way forward: one shaped by what Native families face every day, and built to create something better for all of us.

We’re stronger together.

The PACT is a shared commitment to protect Native health and honor future generations.

Instead of each Tribe going it alone, we unite Native Nations to create the scale and strength needed to build systems that truly work.

Together, we’re reshaping care to be:

  • Built through collaboration, not isolation
  • Within reach for every Tribal member, no matter where they live
  • Guided by Indigenous knowledge and values
  • Designed to evolve and sustain future generations

From individually sustainable to collectively powerful—this is how we protect health today and ensure it for the next generation.

A nationwide network for Tribal communities.

The PACT connects your community to a nationwide care network—trusted providers, specialists, and Native-serving partners working together to ensure your people receive quality care, no matter where they are.

This network extends your reach, supporting Tribal members whether they’re home or far from it.

Harnessing the collective power of Indian Country.

Each Tribe brings its own knowledge, strength, and vision. The PACT makes it possible to share those strengths across Tribal communities—so that what supports one community can ripple outward and uplift many.

Our Mission:

To create health equity for American Indians and Alaska Natives in one generation.

When you join the PACT, you become part of our mission to guide and unite all American Indian and Alaska Native Nations on the way to health equity.

“The Indigenous Pact team recently provided assistance and support to our health project, which serves two counties and seven Federally Recognized Tribes across Inyo and Mono Counties in California’s Eastern Sierras. The team is fully committed to improving healthcare, and we feel blessed to have this association with Indigenous Pact.”
