Wisconsin: Indigenous PACT is pleased to announce it is now a Certified B Corporation. This title is available only to organizations that use business as a force for good. Indigenous Pact is proud to be a part of this new kind of corporate movement. As the Certified B Corporation website states:
“Certified B Corporations are a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. They are legally required to consider the impact of their decisions on their workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment. This is a community of leaders, driving a global movement of people using business as a force for good.”
Originally founded as a Public Benefit Corporation, Indigenous PACT is a consultancy firm that champions healthcare access for citizens of Tribal nations. Driven by its mission to deliver health equity in one generation, Indigenous PACT has always carefully considered how its decisions impact American Indian and Native Alaskan (AI/AN) communities.
The designation as a Certified B Corporation deepens this commitment – and adds additional guarantees to Indigenous Pact’s stakeholders with third-party validation, public transparency, and legal accountability. Every business in the Certified B Corporations network strikes a balance between purpose and profit. Indigenous PACT will follow this tenet to help Tribal communities accomplish their goals.
